Former USWNT Player Joanna Lohman Releases New Book, "Raising Tomorrow's Champions"

Washington Soccer Properties selected Live Wire S&E to manage and oversee the launch of soccer sensation Joanna Lohman’s book, “Raising Tomorrow’s Champions.” Lohman, a retired USWNT midfielder, human rights activist, and the first player in Washington Spirit history to have her jersey retired, wrote the book alongside award-winning journalist, bestselling author, and “soccer dad” Paul Tukey.

“Raising Tomorrow’s Champions” features stories from over 100 of the greatest women's soccer players of all time, including Mia Hamm, Abby Wambach, Julie Foudy, and Megan Rapinoe. These never-before-seen interviews provide firsthand insight on what it takes to raise and become a champion both in sports and in life. The combination of exclusive soccer stories with co-author Paul Tukey’s advice as a father make it the perfect read for USWNT fans, parents, and aspiring players alike.

In managing the book’s launch, Live Wire S&E created and distributed a comprehensive press kit to promote “Raising Tomorrow’s Champions,” which included glowing testimonials and essential press information on the book. Through strategic pitching and media relations efforts, Live Wire S&E secured more than 30 media placements for Lohman on television, in print, and more.

Live Wire S&E’s video production team also created a professional, high-quality promotional video to promote the launch of the book:
