Biography

Amanda Cromwell currently serves at the head coach of the Orlando Pride and is widely recognized as one of the premier soccer coaches in the United States. Cromwell led the UCLA Bruins to the team’s first-ever NCAA Championship in her first season as head coach in 2013. For her accomplishments, she was named Soccer America’s 2013 Coach of the Year. During her tenure at UCLA, Cromwell led the team to three College Cups and three Pac-12 Titles.

Prior to her transition into coaching, Cromwell made 55 international appearances as a member of the USWNT. She also played professional soccer domestically for the WUSA’s Washington Freedom, Atlanta Beat, and San Jose CyberRays.

Cromwell served on the President’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports from 2002 to2006. In 2020, she became a founding investor in the NWSL club Angel City FC.
